Cotton poplin clothing silk, forget-me-nots

Cotton poplin silk with a floral design has a soft and smooth surface. It resembles silk to the touch. It is light, flowing, breathable and pleasant to wear, so it is suitable for clothes where comfortable contact with the skin is important. You can sew summer dresses, blouses, shirts, tunics, but also bed linen from it.

We have tried: We washed the material at the recommended temperature of 30 °C, since it is 100% cotton, we must expect shrinkage of 3-5%. In our case, the material shrank by 3% after washing. We must expect shrinkage when cutting or pre-shrink the fabric.
The fabric was very easy to work with - it didn't slip, dried well and wrinkled slightly, but was very easy to iron. We used universal machine needle, size 70 .
After cutting, the edges of the material were slightly frayed, so we recommend cleaning them with an overlock or overcast zigzag stitch.

Before sewing, the fabric should be soak in hot water without chemicals, so it shrinks.
