Kanafas is a linen-weave wrapping material, strong in tension, highly resistant to abrasion and with a long service life . It is airy and very well maintained. A check or stripe pattern is typical for it. You can use it to sew pillows, bags, curtains, tablecloths, placemats, retro bedding, etc. The dimensions of the square are 5 x 5 mm.
The fabric measurements needed for sewing basic garments and home textiles, can be found here .
Before sewing, the fabric should be soak in hot water without chemicals, so it shrinks.
