Woven Elastic Tape, width 15 mm

You can insert a smooth elastic band into clothing at the waist or under the breasts to better hold it in place, e.g. in trousers, dresses, jackets, etc. It is also suitable for skirts.
It is soft in tension.

We have tried: We washed the elastic at the temperature specified by the supplier. After washing, 1 m of elastic shrank by 2%. During the next test, we steamed the elastic with an iron and after ironing it shrank 8% on 1 m. That is why it is important to take account of shrinkage before cutting and sewing the elastic.
