Cotton satin smooth

Cotton satin is smooth, pleasant to the skin, breathable and absorbs moisture well . Thanks to the dense weave, it is strong. It has a slightly shiny face , the reverse side is more matte. The softness and light shine give the material a luxurious look .
Cotton sateen is very popular for sewing bed linen, but you can also use it to sew pajamas, nightgowns, tablecloths, curtains, etc.

We have tried: After the first wash at 30°C, the material shrank by 2% in width and length, so we recommend pre-shrinking it (washing or thoroughly steaming) before cutting and sewing. The satin dried well and was easy to iron.

Before sewing, the fabric should be soak in hot water without chemicals, so it shrinks.
