An ironing web tape is a great tool for finishing hems and adjusting lengths on clothing and home accessories (curtains, etc.). It makes application easier and saves you time that you would otherwise spend sewing.
Place the fixing tape with the grid on the edge of the back side of the hem. Iron over the paper with an iron at 100 °C for 15 seconds. Then remove the paper tape, fold the hem and iron again. We recommend ironing over another fabric - e.g. a handkerchief. This will avoid shiny decals that an iron can sometimes cause on delicate fabrics. We recommend testing it on a small piece of fabric first.
We have tried: We use the fusible hem tape very often not only to shorten the length of clothes, but we also use it to iron on small appliques. It holds very well. Working with it is easy and quick.
