Diapers and muslin are among the fabrics that are light, airy, pleasant on the body and very popular in warm weather. You will use them mainly for sewing diapers, canopies, bibs, wraps or towels. Cotton diapers are very gentle on children's skin. Muslin is also sometimes referred to as double gauze, as it consists of two layers joined by invisible stitches. You don't have to worry about it shining through. You can sew light summer dresses, skirts, tunics or scarves from it.
