Kumihimo Braid-making

Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese technique of braiding of thin cords into thicker belts or cords. The original purpose of kumihimo cords was purely practical - see samurai armor from thin leather slices which were connected by multi braided cords braided by kumihimo technique. Over time decorative possibilities kumihimo offers have exceeded the utility values. Combining colours and the way of braid-making offer unexpected possibilities. We offer in the first palce a range of satin or waxed cords in incredibly numerous colours.
