This jump ring for chain maille - "ringlet" is an aid which can be used especially for chain maille work and ring work - simply put "ringlet" on your finger. (Cuts in ring have different width so it is easy to put ring or chain maille eye from wire of different widths.) Hold one end of ring with pliers and the second end hidden in cut of "ringlet" will thus open easy. Put another ring or chain maille eye and close by the same way. We know that the instructions sounds difficult but just try it once and you will not put the jump ring for chain maille - "ringlet" out of your finger any more. It is a big help.
