Curtain is a piece of cloth we use as a fashion accessory in interior as well as to block or obscure light or prevent view from outside into room.

Sheer or privacy curtains are transparent or translucent and allow us to see the outside view and a majority of light to be transmitted through the fabric whilst preventing people outside the home from seeing directly into the home. There is nothing worse than curious eyes and gossiping mouth which would sell even her own soul for some gossip.
Sheer curtains are manufactured with laced bottom part and in various patterns. They are being hung in a way to create ripples. They are attached to the supporting structure (curtain rod) with clips, rings or S-hooks that are attached to the pleat heading tape. The most common accessory to sheer curtains are curtains made of opaque fabric and are designed to eliminate the penetration of light into the room.
More than half of the curtains are currently made by warp knitting machines, called raschel machines. In addition to this type, machines on the principle of weaving, lacing and crocheting are used. The machines are equipped with a Jacquard patterned mechanism and large number of textures and combinations could be made with them.

A special type is so-called inbetween - fabric that is heavier than the sheer curtain fabric. It is transparent to see the outside view but opaque from outside. If you want to use inbetween, then you no longer have to hang curtain in your window. It is up to you and your preferences what you like most in windows.
